What is a Chiropodist?

A Chiropodist is a primary health care provider regulated foot specialist in Ontario. Chiropodists will assess and provide treatment including management of acute and chronic conditions pertaining to the feet. They provide a variety of medical services ranging from nail and skin care to orthotics and in-office surgeries. Referrals are welcome but not necessary. While healthcare providers refer many patients, you can contact the clinic directly to schedule an appointment.

Your first visit includes completing a medical intake form and a comprehensive examination of your legs and feet. We will discuss a personalized treatment plan, and treatment may be provided during the same visit.

Preparation: Please remove any nail polish, shellac, acrylics, or nail extensions before your appointment.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Chiropody care in Ontario is not covered by OHIP, but may be covered under your extended healthcare insurance plan. We recommend checking your coverage before coming into the clinic.
